  • An unique experience

" If you have to visit only one cave while in the Dordogne area, then this is definitely the one, the largest underground natural site in France. "

  • Padirac: A magical place to visit

" What a great adventure. It was really easy to traverse for all ages. Probably the highlight of Dordogne, which is full of great places to see. "

  • Stunning and Worth the Effort

" This is something not to be missed when visiting the Dordogne Valley. I have seen a number of caves around the world and these were by far the most spectacular. The opening at ground level is remarkable but does not indicate whats below the surface. The decent continues for some time and then you are transported by barge along the stream to the second chamber of beautiful formations falling from the cathedral ceiling. An inspiring few hours and not overrun with people on our visit. Our English commentary was very good and the staff were excellent. . "

  • Incredible

" A must do if you are in the area. This is an amazing and beautiful cave system. The boat ride inside is also a great addition. The audio guide is great to give you the history and information about the cave.
    Absolutely beautiful.e. "
