  • Stunning

" It is hard to believe that there is this expansive and beautiful river system under the earth. The story of its discovery and exploration is fascinating. The audioguide is helpful. The cave is cool (wear a light jacket) and some of the stairs are steep and damp. Purchase your tickets ahead of time to avoid some of the lines, also consider going early or late. "

  • Huge underground cave system and river

" Once again France has astounded me with its wild beauty. This underground cave system is absolutely fantastic and unlike anything I have ever experienced anywhere in the world. You descend into the cave by stairs or lift and then walk through a spectacular cave system, listening to a very entertaining and informative audioguide. The historical aspect of the discovery and exploration of the cave system is really well covered too. Once you have completed the walking section there are small punts waiting to take you through the cave system along the underground river. It is a totally fascinating experience. I found the guides and the rest of the staff to be extremely polite and helpful. This is a really impressive natural wonder that will leave you feeling awe inspired. Its very well run and I would recommend it for everyone to see. "

  • Amazing place

" Exciting experience for all the family. We bought tickets online so did not have to wait long. We had a combined ticket that included lunch and it was good value for money. "

  • Wonderful visit

" Great visit that can be done at your own rythm, with a very good audioguide available in different languages (auto activated while going on). Very nice and friendly guides. Interesting and exciting for all visitors (young and not that young :) ones). Pictures allowed without flash in several parts of the cave. "
