A 130TH ANNIVERSARY CUVÉE
TO BE TASTED IN 2022
In 2019, the Gouffre de Padirac celebrated the 130th anniversary of its discovery. On this occasion, it joined forces with Clos Triguedina to design its first 130th anniversary cuvée. 500 bottles of Probus 2016, an exceptional wine from the Cahors appellation, were buried here in 2020 to improve for a year in exceptional conditions: 13° and 98% humidity. This first vintage was a great success.
According to Serge Dubs, oenologist and sommelier emeritus, "the wine feels good at the Gouffre de Padirac". It comes out "more complete" and "more expressive".
On September 24, 2021, 600 bottles and 24 magnums of Probus 2017 Clos Triguedina were therefore buried to repeat this unusual wine experience.
This limited edition will be offered for sale at Kiosque du Gouffre and Clos Triguedina in the summer of 2022.
